Keyota Cole was born with a hole in her heart and had surgeries at age 2, age 5, and as an adult in 2006. It was that year that she saw a doctor after noticing an abnormally increased heart rate. On November 15th, 2010 she had a heart valve replacement and on November 19th had a pacemaker installed. Keyota found out she was pregnant in May. At just 4 months pregnant, specialists discovered her baby had DILV condition, a congenital heart defect and needed surgery only 6 days after she was born. Keyota went into labor at full-term and delivered under emergency C-Section. After much wait, Keyota’s miracle baby, Faith-Kiana’Le Bradley Zachery opened her eyes after surgery and was able to go home with her parents. Keyota wants to let women all over know that “if she could do it, you could do it, too.”
