At Adventist Health Bakersfield, we use a phrase that sums up our purpose: Together inspired. We believe the best way to fight disease is to inspire healthier futures.

Adventist Health Bakersfield has a long heritage of providing the highest quality heart care available.

In fact, in the early 1970s, we were the first hospital in Kern County to perform open-heart surgery, open a cardiac cath lab and offer angiograms and angioplasties. As technology and treatments have evolved over the decades, so has our Heart Institute at Adventist Health Bakersfield.

Currently, one woman dies of heart disease every 60 seconds. Although we are a hospital, our mission goes beyond our walls and into our community.

Together, let’s inspire our friends, family and community to raise awareness about heart disease.
